Meet Missy!

Hi Mahj Fam, I’m Melissa – but almost everyone calls me Missy.

Like so many, I caught the Mahjong bug in early 2025…and lets just say, it was love at first tile!

What started as a fun hobby quickly became a full-blown passion.

That passion inspired me to create The Mahj House – a place where learning, laughing and connection happen just as much as calling “Mahjong!”  A dedicated home for the Mahjong community with plenty of ways for you to get your Mahj on! 

Whether it’s your very first lesson or you’re looking to sharpen your game, my goal will always be to make every class, league and event feel welcoming, relaxed, and full of fun.  Around here we take the game seriously – but never ourselves.

When I’m not shuffling tiles, I’m shuffling between my favorite little humans – my amazing kiddos ages 6 and 5 who keep me on my toes!  I also love traveling, playing paddle tennis and spending time with family and friends.

I truly believe Mahjong is more than a game – it’s a way to build friendships, create community and make memories that last long after the tiles are put away.  I can’t wait to meet you at The Mahj House!
